One of the very best coffee spots in the city! When in Berlin swing by here for quality.
Coffee π€© bacon π€© service π€© canβt wait til they re-open
Had the Avocado in Sironi Toast and ist was great. Very good coffee and Croissant too.
The food is good. Just watch out that for the make your own toast, the menu is misleading. βBacon, sausage β¬3.5β This means each item is β¬3.5, rather than both. I ordered quite a few extras thinking they are priced per list item, and ended up with a very high bill. I have never gone out of my way to leave a less than stellar review, but I thought this might help the store want to improve as well as catch your attention.
Delicious coffee
Literally cannot fault this place, brekky was amazing, coffee is so good and staff were so nice, they gave us a table straight away even though the were so busy! Will definitely be back to feel back at home in Aus :)
The food is absolutely amazing but I hate waiting so long for a table. I would come way more often if you take reservations.
We very nearly didn't make it to Silo. All of the extremely positive reviews and its placing on multiple 'best of' lists in Berlin made us think that perhaps it was just the product of great advertising. I am so glad we gave it a go. Silo absolutely earn themselves their great reputation. We opted for the pancakes and the salmon bagel. The food was perfect. Presentation was beautiful and more importantly, every single ingredient that made it to the plate was well matched and of flavour. The coffee was of high quality, to be expected from one of Berlin's most hyped coffee shops. The location lent itself well to a stroll around the market and we enjoyed sitting outside in the brisk air comforted by hot drinks. Somehow, it got better. The service was and is impeccable. Nothing bitters a coffee like unhappy and rude staff; and it's safe to say that was some smooth drinking coffee. We'd like to say a big thanks to our server (who's name we have forgotten, sorry!), for kindly writing us a list of other great Berlin third wave coffee spots. You really helped make our day. We've kept the list for our inevitable return. If you're considering Silo, do it. Wait in line if you have too, we promise it will be worth it!
One of the best places to have breakfast and coffe. Poshed eggs on toast as a base and than you can upgrade the dish yourself like: spicy sausage, mushrooms, bacon and such. Oven baked pancake with cream and berries is a must and super delicious. Portions are big and great for sharing. Staff is very friendly and super helpfull. Easy five star.
This place is amazing. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. I had a cappuccino and an Avo toast, my friend had the Brisket and they both taste spectacular. If i am ever back in Berlin I will definitely go there again. I highly recommend it
Had a muffin and capuccino, which were very average, nothing special. For the price you could find better options in the area. Also, not a notebook friendly cafe with an 1h wifi limit. Staff was friendly tho.
great truffled mushrooms on toast. Coffee could be better
Awesome coffee and amazing bagel
The coffee was great and the staff were really nice
The food and coffee were really good, but extremely long waiting time. Try to avoid typical busy hours.
Overpriced hipster restaurant. If you like to instagram your food, come here.
The best cafΓ© in the neighbourhood for brunch.
Great coffee and seevice
Aussie by name. Aussie by reputation. This cafe is typical of the βnew ageβ breakfast and coffee culture that is the rave in Australia. And like any well known breakfast place Down Under Silo is always bustling with customers on the weekend and even more if the weather is nice. I was lucky I didnβt have to wait more than 5 minutes to get a seat. Coffee is great - food is wonderful. Couldnβt ask for more in Berlin.
Excellent food and service
Definitely my favorite cafe in Berlin with very friendly service and the most delicious food and coffee! Also, their COVID precautions are very good with keeping distance and everyone wearing masks.
Around 11:00 on Sunday looks very Crowded. go there opening time or 10:00 if possible! Friendly service:) tasty food. They have enough space inside to keep a safe distance. Price a bit expensive but fine.
Food worth waiting for the table. Friendly, English speeking stuff. Good music.
Coffee was great. Ordered the pulled Beef which was absolutely revolting. My friend tried a bite of it too and we both ended up nauseous in the evening
Silo is a brunch institution. They have great options on their menu and all the food is really high quality. They have some of the best coffee in Berlin. It reminds me of the best NZ/Australian coffee and brunches. I would highly recommend the brisket sandwich or the mushrooms. They are extremely professional regarding the Corona measures too. The staff are always wearing masks, they have an easy to use registration system and disinfectant available.
Friendly staff, incredible food, decent coffee. Itβs a favorite for the amazing food.
Coffee was so so.. the beef brisket sandwich was out of this world.. better than the ones in New York!
Iβm a big fan of the girl that calls everyone βdarlingβ. Mushroom on toast is the ultimate thing to get.
Lives up to the hype... very good food with quality ingredients. Staff are always friendly. It is very popular, so managing to get a table is the only downside - they deserve the atten though.
staff was really nice food was delicious sometimes the mushrooms are too salty so be careful
Coffee is okay. But the opening time is a little weird..
aussis r just pretty good at breakfast apparantly
Cute place - great coffee and super friendly staff - I highly recommend - coming back for sure
Silo coffee is for sure one of the best brunch places in Berlin, and a regular place where I take any visitor! Great Australian coffee, and the smashed avo is perfect!
Amazing coffee and quick service!
Famous for their amazing coffee, also the mushroom toast is one of the best.
Great experience. Food tastes amazing. So all the praise and definitely recommended. Staff are friendly and attentive. Plus they all speak great English. But it takes quite a while for the food to arrive on the table and there's usually a waiting period to get a table. Advice: don't go there when you're extremely hungry.
Been there once and tried the poached eggs with bacon. It was tasty π Unfortunately it is always crowded and couldnβt visit again. Wonβt wait 40 minutes to be seated. At the end, itβs an egg sandwich. ββ- Visited again after 2 years and tried the baked pancakes π₯ omg π± itβs great!!! ββ Visited again and tried the eggs. It is not as my first experience here. Check out the photos. It is smaller and frankly expensive. We are still hungry
Best coffee and brunch place in whole East Berlin. The food is delish , this truffle and mushroom toastie was amazing! The guys are lovely! Too bad is always pretty crowed.
The place is great and the staff speak English and are very friendly. They are a little bit on the expensive side though.
1 word to sum it up: boring. We heard that Silo Coffee is one of the breakfast places in Friedrichshain. We waited a bit and were looking forward to the food. The menu has a few options. With the eggs we missed the option of adding spinach, salmon or broccoli. We had to ask to get water. The cappuccino was ok, nothing special. The granular had different fruits in it but also nothing special. My wifeβs poached eggs were with just some salad on the side. The dressing was sweet and there was sugar on top of the eggs. So we think there are not that many options on the menu and the options to pick are nothing special. Also the coffee or soft drinks options are not special. The staff seems busy but also no amazing service. The portions are not big but the price for it is fair.
The new menu is absolutely amazing. We'll be coming back for breakfast very soon.
They are killing it with their new menu! The pancakes are suberb and the coffee is great!
Food is great, service is pretty slow and confused
Overrated and too expensive for Berlin standards and for what you get. Very sweet granola (from the supermarket?), 1 slice of bread with an egg or sandwich dish, weird tasting and maybe not so fresh orange juice
One the best place for coffee & breakfast
Fast and tasty
The Service is slow. I waited 40 minutes for this baked pancake. (IT is nothing special!) The drinks are really really small (hot chocolate and Ginger tea, like a small Glas of water). P. S: They donβt have chai latte, if you are looking for it.
Good coffee and nice neighborhood
Loved this place π
